When long-pressing on an image on the touchscreen,the browser stops responding

So the issue is concerning the following setup:

Windows 11 (arm or intel), NOT Windows 10

Opera Desktop version 126 and above (up to 125 all is fine)

Touchscreen PC (in my case MS Surface, Lenovo)

What happens:

When long-pressing on an image on the touchscreen, such as a Youtube thumbnail, the browser stops responding to any further touch input.

The whole UI becomes unresponsive to touch - menus, content, close button in the top right...

The only way to get out of this situation is to touch the screen outside on the Opera window.

In the same time mouse / touchpad operation is with no issues.

I also tested this on the latest Opera GX - and there is no problem at all.

Both Operas are running on Chromium 149+

Some additional info.

In Opera 125 and older there were several flags connected with touch operation.

I noticed that in those older versions, enabling the "Touch Initiated Drag and Drop" would have the same effect = issue.

Disabling that flag resolved the problem.

Running Opera 126+ with command parameter "--disable-touch-drag-drop" has no effect = issue remains.

Using "--touch-events=disabled" has no effect = issue remains.

I'm using those launch parameters as corresponding flags were removed from Chromium.

Seems to me like the standard Opera is running some additional layer for touch/digitizer.

Anyone else having such problems?
