      Windows PC

      Opera One version: 133.0.5932.24

Opera is crashing in a loop on startup. It opens, closes, and repeats. I cannot get it to stay open at all.

      What happened:

      • This started after a recent Opera update in early July 2026.
      • I closed Roblox with Alt+F4 right before I noticed the problem, but Opera is the app that is now crashing.
      • Reinstalling Opera did not fix it.

      What I found:

      • The faulting module in the crash dumps is opera_browser.dll
      • Exception code: 0x80000003
      • The same crash appears in multiple recent dumps

      Expected behavior:
Opera should open normally and stay open.

      Actual behavior:
Opera opens and immediately crashes/restarts in a loop.

I have profile backups and crash dumps available if needed.

@Celestiaa Have you tried starting Opera in Safe Mode?
Use the Shift Key while launching.

@niharikas2102 Uninstall Opera, keep you user data and download the previous version installer.

Yep I had the same issue and I just uninstalled Opera and Re-installed it and it worked. I tried just re-installing the browser without wiping data and without uninstalling and nothing was working so I just went nuclear and wiped everything. Now it is working again.
