The LastPass Extension on this site (opera.com) is broken.
If you want LastPass Extension in your Opera browser, open Chrome Extension Store with your Opera Browser.

Press the button "Add to Chrome" (or whatever it says in your language).
Opera uses the same browser engine as the Chrome Browser - so the extension is working in Opera also.

Couple of issues that break the experience. First of all, who thaught that not telling you if you typed the wrong password was a good idea? It made me change my password to something I cannot remember as easily now. Thank you 2026 developers, you are really joining the masterpiece work of Microsoft and Google. My 5 year old cousin would do better job.

Also, I keep using the same machine and same browser every day. And out of nowhere, lastpass just logs you out randomly so often, it boggles my mind. I am seriously conciderin switching to something else, made for actual humans.

This needs an update - it's no longer functioning in Opera (as a plug-in.)

Unfortunately, the extension stopped working correctly in Opera. Analyzing reports from friends, it's been 7 months and the problem persists.

@KasperT Thanks, Thanks, I'll do a test here, I saw that the Chrome version is more advanced than Opera's.
Despite being the same engine, Opera doesn't recognize the extension, which requires the operator to "mark" it as trusted (tip for future users).

I have the same issue. In Opera, the extension is only allowing offline access, and refuses to update passwords, while the browser happily does so (which I don't want). The extension sprouts a red border and asks to reload the page everywhere. Highly frustrating when I have changed nothing. I've had this issue for more than a month now. I've been using LastPass on Opera for several years and this is the worst issue ever.

I personally just delete all the data from the browser, and Recover, it's a pain but after that I was able to reinstall lastpass and everything was working fine.

@ajs4opera Hi, how are you? I contacted their support, and according to them, they are already developing an update. However, as the friend above said, the Chrome extension also works with Opera. I tested it, and so far it hasn't presented any more problems here.
