Speed Dial Icon spacing

Long time Opera for Android user on a Pixel Tablet and Pixel Phone.
On my tablet the Speed Dial Icons are now squashed together with large
with large spaces left and right when viewing in Portrait mode.
Tablet is running Android 16 and the latest version of Opera for Android.
The Pixel Phone is fine.
Any ideas on how can I fix this please? -

I also have this issue. The smaller icons and spacing is not very helpful for users with sight and dexterity issues.
