Address bar/omnibox text is invisible

As you can see, often when I'm typing the address bar the text is often (but not always) the same color as the black background, which makes it very annoying to use. It becomes visible once I defocus. What causes this?
I use dark mode. I do have some custom theme with my wallpaper from what I see, but not sure how it even got created and/or how to edit that part of it, if possible, the options seem very limited when I click the edit button. EDIT: seems unrelated to the theme, few downloaded ones also had this issue. Also surprisingly it happens in light mode.

Latest Opera (but has been happening for few versions now)Could be a duplicate, but I only found a similar unsolved issue for OperaGX.

Great, now after recent upgrade the bar is visible, but there's a small issue... None of the suggestions are visible instead

Never mind. It seems to be a bit random. The invisible omnibox text reappeared later. The suggestions kept being dark too. But after Opera restart, which I don't do too often, it seems like both issues are usually gone at the beginning and then start occurring later until next restart, the omnibox one way more often.
