History shows incorrect date

The "today" date display in the Opera history of the first released version of Opera 123 (see the report for exact details) is disabled, so activity performed on the same day is marked as if it were from yesterday. They've already released an update for that version, and it doesn't appear to have fixed it, so it seems they simply ignored the report or didn't care.
I'm showing you an image of how the problem appears in the current stable version of Opera 123 as of today (123.0.5669.47), along with a reference image from Opera GX where the "today" date display for activity works correctly.

Today I updated to version 124.0.5705.15, and the error in my Opera history persists.
To test whether the error is with the version and not my browser, I performed another standalone installation on a USB drive (F:) today and used the System Image visual theme (light). The error appeared exactly the same as with the one I already had installed and updated.
I was about to use Opera's recovery option, but I remembered that I could avoid further headaches by installing Opera on a USB drive without having to use the restore option on the other Opera installation.

Opera 124.0.5705.42 still fails to display today's browsing history correctly in standalone installations (e.g., USB-mounted drives). The 'today' label remains disabled, and entries from 'yesterday' are actually from today. This issue has persisted across several updates despite being reported over a month ago. Interestingly, Opera GX doesn't show this problem in similar setups. If Opera isn't prioritizing fixes for standalone users, it may be time to consider Opera GX—or even a different browser that respects basic functionality
