Opera app stuck on "Migrating Tabs"

Since the latest update, my Opera app on my iPhone doesn't work!
It boots up and says "We are migrating your Tabs This may take longer than usual. Thanks for waiting." and then says shortly after "We are migrating your Tab Screenshots. This may take longer than usual. Thanks for waiting.".
I wait for the app... then 10 seconds later it crashed and closes itself. No matter how many times I boot the app up, it won't work.
I need this app to work as my job is R&D in a scientific field. I use the Opera app as there's no limits on the amount of tabs. I have 9000 tabs open in my Opera app. the vast majority being research papers and scientific journals.
I know I shouldn't have relied upon an iOS web browser to this extent, but it was working perfectly fine for a whole year up until this update.
Please fix this! I can't lose my 9000 tabs!

@tripleshieldedgaming the same thing happened to my today. Any updates on your end?
