Absurd Policy on Aria AI Translations - Counter-intuitive and Disconnected from Reality
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my deep concern and frustration regarding the illogical translation policy built into the Aria assistant. You claim your tool is safe, but its actions are simply absurd and disconnected from reality.
I'm not sure if you are aware of how much of the internet's traffic consists of adult content. Millions, if not billions, of people use platforms like OnlyFans, where vulgar language is common in comments and descriptions. This content is intentionally there, and users who don't speak English need tools to understand it.
Your policy doesn't protect anyone. On the contrary, it becomes absurdly counter-intuitive and inconvenient. When Aria refuses to translate a text, users will just copy and paste it into Google Translate, which handles it without a problem. Your filter, therefore, becomes completely useless and only makes life more difficult for users.
This "moral" stance is simply ineffective. In an age where such a huge portion of the internet is vulgar and erotic, pretending the problem doesn't exist is naive.
Please reconsider this policy so that your tool can be useful in the real world, not just in some utopian, "pure" vision that has nothing to do with everyday internet reality.
