@tblazewarriort: I also was running into that issue, and couple of other websites were doing linkbux redirects as well, like paramount plus. Problem was over once I removed the extension.

Redirecting browser to linkbux.com. Very annoying. I would said it is trojan. As soon as I uninstall it every thing is back in normal.
