I'd like to propose an enhancement to Opera's workspace functionality that would significantly improve user organization and browser management.

My suggestion is to allow users to create distinct 'workspaces' that function akin to having entirely separate browser instances. This would mean that each workspace could maintain its own independent set of:

      • Bookmarks: Users could have work-related bookmarks in one workspace and personal bookmarks in another, without overlap or confusion.
      • Extensions: The ability to enable or disable specific extensions per workspace would be invaluable. For example, a developer might want certain coding extensions active only in their 'work' workspace, while disabling them in a 'personal' workspace.
      • History: Each workspace could maintain its own browsing history, making it easier to track research or activities within a specific context.
      • Settings & Preferences: This could extend to other browser settings, such as default search engines, privacy configurations, or even custom themes, tailored to the specific purpose of each workspace.

Essentially, this would provide users with the flexibility to switch between completely different browser environments within a single Opera installation, much like having two separate browsers running simultaneously but seamlessly integrated. This level of customization would cater to power users, those managing multiple professional roles, or anyone who values a highly organized and context-specific browsing experience.

Thank you for considering this valuable addition to Opera's feature set!
