[Feedback]Hard to use and understand

After seeing an advertisement for Opera One while viewing a YouTube video, I thought I'd give it a try. Well, I've installed it and am trying to make sense of it on my Mac Mini M3. This browser doesn't follow any conventional layout on a Mac. I find it hard to figure out what I'm even looking. Importing bookmarks led to a duplication of tabs on the left and across the top. Several folders across the top are empty: Like Tab Group Favorites - there are folders but all are empty. The fonts are small and look terrible too.
I get lost in navigating around this browser, very little is instantly recognizable - lots of small colorless icons and no text.
I can't seem to update my location for the little weather widget. It just shows blurring images and trying to type in a zip code or city doesn't seem to work. I had it auto-detect my location but that didn't work either.
It seems the focus on this browser is social media and not fast, simple functionality. In the advert there were a couple of features I thought would be useful like split screen, but that is lost in a sea of other functionality that distracts and loses me.
Not a browser for me. -

weather widget
The weather service the widget uses is messed up right now. You can goto the URL
opera://settings/startPage
and hide it. There are options to hide other things on the start page that you might not like. -

Not sure what you mean about that. Importing bookmarks shouldn't have anything to do with tabs.
Several folders across the top are empty: Like Tab Group Favorites - there are folders but all are empty.
Whatever browser you imported from must have had those empty folders its bookmarks file. Opera was just importing what was there. You can goto the URL
opera://bookmarks
, go into the bookmarks bar and remove anything you don't want and move any imported stuff from the "Bookmarks Bar" folder to where you want (like "other bookmarks").If you don't want the bookmarks bar to show, you can right-click it and choose to hide it.
If you don't like the sidebar, you can click the 3 dots at the bottom of the sidebar, scroll down and disable "show sidebar".
