[Duplicated]Opera Air but... black?

First of all, I would like to say that Opera Air is truly an outstanding browser – it’s beautifully designed, fast, and refreshingly calm. I especially appreciate the consistency of the interface, where nothing screams for attention and the icons share a unified color scheme – it's simply brilliant.
I have also noticed real benefits for my focus and well-being. As someone with ADHD, the clean and non-distracting design actually helps me take proper breaks, stretch, and take care of my posture – something I used to struggle with, despite being aware of its importance. The addition of built-in features like binaural beats and background noise is another fantastic idea that genuinely enhances the browsing experience.
The only thing I truly miss is a dark mode. Spending many hours at the computer, a bright interface gradually strains my eyes and makes it harder to maintain comfort and focus. A dark theme would not only align perfectly with the current design philosophy of Opera Air, but would also offer essential support for users who are sensitive to bright light or simply need a more relaxing environment for long work sessions.
Despite all the amazing advantages Opera Air already offers, the absence of a dark mode is the only reason I still find myself using Opera GX for now. I genuinely hope that a dark mode will be introduced in the future – it would make Opera Air absolutely perfect for me (and I hope) even more users.
I’m truly excited to see how Opera Air will continue to grow!

@roshanxd I can't promise anything at this stage, however we are deeply analyzing this matter.
BTW Dark mode - might mean different things. Sometimes it's a matter of interface, other times it's about forced dark websites.
Feel free to share more details to which "dark mode" you're referring. In the meantime, I can recommend installing Night Eye plugin: https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/dark-mode-night-eye/alncdjedloppbablonallfbkeiknmkdi
It works very well with Opera AIR.

@Mlipka I fully agree with the OP, first off, Opera Air looks stunning. but i kind of turn blind getting flashed by the extreme whites, for users with an OLED Panel that usually use Darkmode this is even worse if not existing. i love the design and feel of Opera Air, but as long as there is no Interface dark mode and force websites to display in darkmode, its a no for me.
Please introduce Dark interface and force darkmode websites.

Thanks for the reply – really appreciate that you're taking the time to look into this!
When I mention "dark mode", I mostly have in mind the kind of themes that are already available in regular Opera or Opera GX – where both the interface and most websites follow a consistent dark look. It’s a small thing, but it really improves the browsing experience, especially during longer sessions or in low-light environments.
Of course, I’m not necessarily expecting full-on forced dark mode for every single website (though that would be amazing). What I’d love to see is a simple option to shift the whole browsing experience into dark – something native, seamless, and easy to toggle. Basically: make the web feel dark again
Opera AIR is shaping up to be a really exciting product – snappy, clean, and fresh. Just hoping it can also feel like home for those of us who live in dark mode.
Thanks again for listening!

@Mlipka Thanks for the plugin recommendation!
If you guys could tint the title bar and border and anything else that uses the transparent look, that would be great. The force dark web pages from the regular Opera would be great too, so we wouldn't need a plugin.
I'm including screenshots of Windows Explorer with a transparent but dark title bar that would be a nice look for Opera Air, and one of Opera Air with the plugin you suggested and an arrow pointing to the GUI elements that would look great with a dark theme.
Given that there are many, many devices that are now running some form of OLED and similar self-emissive technologies, this is a nice power saving option.

@ckirocz28 That's cool, thanks for sharing.
I don't want to spoil the beans, but you might not need such plugins in the near future
Keep an eye out for announcements!
