      Either by clicking the top-left opera icon or by pressing Alt+F, opera crashes immediately after drawing the gray rectangle for the drop-down menu.
      Running from the terminal (with disabled gpu) gives the following:

        Same here with version 118.0.5461.60 in Debian after recent upgrade.

          @alkhimov, I've been seeing this problem for months on linux, through multiple browser updates, on both Xubuntu-22.0.4 and Almalinux-9.6. It doesn't happen in Windows. Opera keeps asking me to make it my default browsers, but I won't until this persistent issue is solved.
