uBlock Origin

@Rihailla Thank you! I couldn't figure out why Ublock was suddenly unable to function when watching YT vids in Opera, when it works fine on all other browsers. Then I saw your post and thought, no way, it can't be that simple... But it is. Yes that's right, to block ads you have to tell Opera not to block ads! Not to worry, as long as you do this with Ublock enabled you still won't see any ads, in fact you'll see less ads. It's freakin' ridiculous! I have to say that I am totally disgusted with Opera at this point, they get consistently worse with each new update. The only thing preventing me from switching to a new browser is the inconvenience of re-logging in to all the sites I use regularly. Honestly, WTF Opera? And they will probably ban me again for this post. Frankly I could care less if they do. They seem to be trying hard to actively drive people away from their product, for reasons that are totally unclear to me.

@John30011887 this is why I switched from Chrome to Opera, as Opera will continue to keep uBO. Now Opera is the only browser I use, most likely I won't switch to anything else.

If there was one thing i really could use is the ZAPPER in Opera. Some of these Sites (and that list is growing) are the drop-down wasted headers that take up a full 1/3 of my screen.

Correct.Give me a website in which you have this issue, to test it myself.

Apparently Win-10 had an update waiting in the background that I didn't see. Wouldn't let me continue a few programs until installed. Rebooted and UBlock works fine. Thanks.
Extra question. Will Opera work in all Linux OS's? grrrr, Microsoft is becoming too controlling. -

Seems to works far less effectively in incognito mode (it is enabled). I get so many ads on same pages as normal navigation

I got a little problem, when I do have the ublock origin extension enabled, after some time I get the:
"Video unavailable
This content isn't available, try again later." error on every video on every device with my youtube account and it goes away after a few days after I removed the extension again (somehow turning it off just for youtube doesn't work). Any idea how to fix this or why this is happening? Inbuild opera ad blocker is disbabled -

@msrgilles: What I might want to add, I can make it work with switching to a diferent account, but I kinda don't wanna do that for every video and I'd like to use the main channel to watch the videos

@pilis00: I don't know what can be doing this. Works perfectly fine on regular mode but I have to rely on other ad-blockers for this specific mode

Please update ublock to be undetectable by youtube again. Youtube has been massively slowing down videos with ad blockers active.

@msrgilles: Make sure the opera ad blocker is also disabled, and if you have any other ad-blocker extensions make sure those are disabled as well. Especially if you have the Customizer Youtube extension.
