Keyboard shortcut set for GX Control

I use keyboard while using opera and hate to switch for GX control. It would be great if i can add keyboard shorcut to open and hide GX control

You can load the GX Control page directly in a tab by going to the URL opera://gx-control. So, as a workaround, you can try using an extension like https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/quick-url-shortcuts/ogobhopommhbfnaghacgikgieebfadkf to load that URL when you use a specific keyboard shortcut.

Specifically, with the extension installed, at the URL chrome-extension://ogobhopommhbfnaghacgikgieebfadkf/options.html, set the URL for #1 to opera://gx-control and close the tab. Then, goto the URL opera://settings/keyboardShortcuts, scroll down to the section for shortcuts for that extension and set what shortcut you want for number 1.

That works , but it has poor UX. I don't understand why there is no provision for keybinding for gx control
