Opening links in new tabs

Can something pllllllease be done about the inconsistency with right-click menus, where in most instances the top option is 'open link in new tab' but in bookmarks this comes second after 'open link', which seems to serve no purpose at all. I've been hunting for an option to change this, or even to make it so all clicks open a link in new tabs. If we could be given control over the order of contextual menus, perhaps, this customer would be living in a veritable utopia of sensible browser. design.

Ctrl+Click (Windows/Linux) or Command+Click (Mac) will open a link in a new tab in Opera
Use this it may work..

Clicking the middle mouse button (or pressing the scroll wheel) on a link in Opera will also open it in a new tab. This is efficient way to bypass the right-click menu entirely.
