Well, I will soon become mad.

Because after so many times CLOSE & OPEN. Finally its works. But day after I start my PC then, OPERA Welcome me with its freeze picture.

            Version 12.17
            Version Step 1863
            Win 32
            Windows 7

I am using McAfee Total Protraction as security program.
I have 73 different pages into Opera that I use or see every day because of some reasons. My important pages in other words.
Once I close Opera and my desktop PC then, restart it day after. Once Opera is starting after 5 or 20 seconds its freeze completely.

Did you have an Opera version prior to 12.17 that worked correctly when you restarted the computer, with the same page-loads that you currently have? If so, which version?

I just don`t understand that what you mean by Opera Version Prior to 12.17? As I said that I have around 70 different pages into Opera Browser. I made a big changes to sort out pages at different places. Unfortunately problem continue further. No luck at all.

I consider that I have to uninstall Opera. And then install again. But problems is that then I will miss my all "Bookmarks" Because I want to delete/uninstall Opera completely. Ohhhhhh, why its freeze soon after I start it.

I asked which Opera version you may have had installed on your computer before 12.17. The 12.17 version only was issued just a week or so ago, so unless you installed it new with no previous Opera version on your system (not very likely), there had to be some 'previous' version. If you have simply been letting Opera automatically update itself over time, what was the Opera version number when you originally installed it? The point is to discover whether a previous version of Opera froze up on your system while having the same page loads, or if a problem might exist with loading one of those pages.

Regarding bookmarks, if you simply uninstall Opera, it should leave its personal data files (bookmarks, notes, etc) behind on your computer. That is by design, so that they can be retrieved intact if you decide to re-install Opera. However, be aware that a few of the files left behind contain configuration information, and if the uninstalled Opera was having problems, the configuration and sessions files can carry the problems into a new Opera installation in some situations. The "safe" files are bookmarks, notes, and eMails (if any), and those can be copied into a new Opera installation to recover your personal records.

I also had problem with this issue when using Opera 12 and earlier versions. On a computer with Windows Vista it was terrible. After I buy a new computer with Win 7 the problem with freezing webpages was better but did not disappear completely. I think the problem is more frequent on some webpages than other. So, maybe the reason for freezing webpages is how the pages are build and that they do not "like" the presto engine.

After I installed Opera 20 the problem with freezing webpages is gone. So I recommend you to try the new browser. It is simple, fast and I have not had any kind of problem with Opera 20.

I tried to installed Opera 2.0 But there I just couldnot see pictures of each pages. I mean small pic of my each 72 pages. Because the cyrrent Opera that I am using now there can I see even a small pic of each page. Like a aaps. I wonder this is not possible into Opera 20. Anyway thanks for your support.

Yes, you are right. Quite often me too got same problems. That some pages freeze Opera once it start. Then I just removed the page or only the image that freeze Opera. After that every thing worked perfectly. But........ now I even checked all my pages into Opera and I just couldt found any thing wrong there. Now its working fine. I hope it will continue further? But as I am only using Opera than all other Internet Browsers. I have to know about the problems that can freeze Opera. I will be back to get some more support if problems will begin again. I dont think so since all is OK now. But I am still afraid that maybe it will happen later or sooner? But hope it says as good as it now.
