@Afku2137 Nice, just to add on, since this issue only happens on youtube live chat, you can just only enable this extension on youtube and disable it on other website as service worker is used to make the website to load faster (slightly faster) and have notifications, so it is better to have service worker enabled on other websites.

To do this just go to youtube -> top right extension -> triple dot beside the no service worker -> page access -> always run on youtube

Still a problem, takes a few minutes to load. Didn't try the extension, this should be fixed by Opera team.

@LolLeetx Thanks, works for now and just to be safe I went ahead and only allowed it access to YT. Oddly enough, with holodex youtube live chat loads immediately even without this addon.

@Afku2137 The only way to fix it is to click on the youtubers profile from the stream, then click on the stream from their profile.

Hi, so i have a problem with opera and opera gx service worker, when i go to someone live on youtube, chat is not loading, i need to wait like 2-3 minutes, i have to wait everytime when i close full screen in youtube. When i unregister the service worker in opera, the chat is loading normally but if i refres the page i still have the same problem. its working normaly in chorme. I dont wanna install plugin that is unregistering the service worker everytime, and i dont really wanna quit opera gx because of this problem. Can someone help?
