Because Opera Link is not working at the moment, AFAIK.

Opera Link is not functionable since 11 months, i remember.
Must be many problems of syncing Opera 12, Opera Mini, Opera Android and Opera 15 (or newer).
May be we never get back sync data on all our browsers on our devices/desktops.

I wouldn't say that Opera Link doesn't work with Opera Mini, usually the token is thrown when connection state is changed or as a result of 'shadow' connection.

Just delete the "link.opera" cookies. It will solve the problem.
