Gentler, softer, kinder and most original Sci-fi movies I have found are:

• Safety Not Guaranteed, starring Aubrey Plaza before she was famous

• Love and Teleportation, Director/Writer: Troy McGatlin
  Stars: Jan Van Sickle, Robin DeMarco, Adair Jameson

• Passengers, directed by Morten Tyldum, written by Jon Spaihts and starring Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt.

for me best sci-fiction movies are like Tom Cruise's Edge of Tomorrow, Arrival, Dune, Blade Runner, Matrix, all of them are great.

Battle for the Planet of the Apes from 2023.
The film explores themes of war, peace, and leadership, as the ape leader Caesar tries to maintain harmony. While the movie provides closure to the series, it is often considered the weakest of the five films, lacking the philosophical depth and intensity of the earlier installments.

I love to watch sci-fi movies, like Interstellar, Time Trap, Inception, so please suggest me best sci-fi high rated movies according to your opinion.

If you loved Interstellar and Inception, definitely check out Arrival. It's got a similar vibe with a mind-bending twist, but with more emotional depth. Also, Blade Runner 2049 is a visual masterpiece with a deep, futuristic story that’ll keep you hooked.
