Can't find a way to keep the tab emoji's I select.

I have read lots of negatives about the new Tab Emoji's. I am trying to give them a fair trail on my computer. So far I can select the emoji to display but when I close my browser, I lose all of my emoji's. Am I expected to select each emoji every time I turn on my browser? That seems even more ludicrous than adding them without giving us a way of turning them off. What as I doing wrong?

If you're having trouble saving the tab emojis you select, try checking your browser settings or extensions, as some may prevent changes from being saved. Ensure your browser is updated, and consider using a browser that supports customizations, such as Google Chrome or Firefox.

@msalman243 Wonderful solution. I asked for help on how to save the emojis I have selected and you suggest checking my extension settings. No recommendation of what settings n extensions to check! Or switch to a different browser! Right n point! That will fix the emojis not being saved. You must work for tech support.. Not Thank you for your help..

Subscribed to this. Emojis also disappear when the browser crashes which is super annoying
