Can't skip intro and credits on Netflix when using video pop-out

this may be a bug on my part, idk. on netflix i usally use the PiP feature to use games and watch shows. a couple things that are annoying with it is that you cant skip intro's or credits, and when an epsiode finishes, you have to go back to the netflix tab and turn PiP back on-it doesnt automaticaly show it in the PiP you already have.
