Autofocus on search field in bookmark pane

I use bookmarks pane* frequently to search amongst my bookmarks.
This speeds up my productivity a lot.The bookmark pane (opened with ctrl+shit+b) has a search field. This search field is not automatically in focus/selected, when the pane is opened. Though this is a default behavior in other chromium based browser i have used.
This forces me to move one hand from the keyboard and steer my mouse cursor towards the search field and select it, before i can type into and search for a saved bookmark.
I feel that I'm loosing efficiency, when I'm forced to use mouse gestures right before a keyboard typing action.
And I can't think of a reason why the search field is not automatically in focus and ready for keyboard input as soon the pane is opened, especially since there is only one search field in that menu.extra note: I like the "tab search" feature (Ctrl+spacebar) it's a nice and elegant way to locate/navigate opened and recently closed tabs. I suggest that perhaps this search modal windows (tab search) could search amongst saved bookmarks as well, as long as it doesn't require extra input from user.
- Bookmark pane or bookmark menu or whatever name is correct.

If you click the 3 dots at the bottom of the sidebar and set the bookmarks panel to open the full bookmarks page, ctrl + shift + b will open the
opera://bookmarks
page instead with the search field focused. That might be an alternative for now.As for the panel, for now, as an alternative to focusing the search field with the mouse, you can hit tab a few times to focus the field.
