Importing contacts

I have just switched to Opera Mail. Is there any way to import contacts from Thunderbird to Opera mail?

You have to export Thunderbird's contacts as a csv file. Then, you can use http://hallvord.com/opera/conversion1.htm to convert it to an adr file. Then, you can goto "Menu -> settings -> import and export -> import Opera contacts" to import them into Opera Mail.
The converter may not support all fields that Thunderbird supports.
Also note that if the converted file downloads as a php file, change its extension to adr after the download is finished.
Also, I think there are some address book conversion programs that support both Opera and Thunderbird. Don't remember the names though, but some other might or you might find them searching google.
