I was using the opera notes (and many other features), and since i have upgraded to version 20.0 it all has disappeared, how can i access my notes?

By using legacy Opera (up to version 12.16).
Opera 15+ doesn't have Notes built-in.

Also, look for a notes file in your desktop. They do a one-time export to there "just in case".

They started over completely and just wrote a UI for Chromium. This means that it will be years before they can really show anything that differentiates themselves in a non-trivial way. If someone has Chrome/Firefox installed there is no reason to install a 20MB browser for a couple of features that come as extensions. [No need to add Spam to your posts...]

Also, if you used Opera Link, the old synced notes are still on link.opera.com
