I was advised to install a MetaMask extention to my Android browser but I was not able to. Instead I have installed the MetaMask-app and configured the Polygon network there. Is this as safe as the browser extension?

Scam when connecting wallet check the URL, its not the real one... keep safe dont intall

Please update that damn extension, the current Metamask version on Opera addons is Version
11.12.2, while MetaMask already released Version 11.15.5 and that was last week.

@waskad use the one from Chrome Web Store. Opera addons are very slow updated... you can use Chrome extensions in Opera as well.. the only problem is that pushing new versions of addons/extensions which are already installed are also pushed with big delay...
