Carl393 last edited by leocg So I accidentally installed the stable version instead of beta....hit CTRL + C half way through the dpkg (debian package) installation.. now I have this error message every time I do apt-update how in the heck do I get rid of this?

sorenfeodor last edited by@carl393 I would try following the instructions on https://deb.opera.com/manual.html. I imagine this (the first line, maybe) would install the right public key. If not, maybe try to uninstall opera and re-install (using timeshift before uninstalling if you have timeshift, so that you can go back if things turn sour)

Carl393 last edited by@sorenfeodor thanks! I managed to somehow export the repository address to a separate location and comment out the source (server where it indicates to download from) which fixed the issue.
