This is not a picture of Nusfjord. It's a picture of Reine. Reine is placed almost at the (south) west end of the Lofoten islands. Reine is placed on the Moskenes island, while Nusfjord is placed on the Flakstad island witch is the neighbouring island to the (North) east of Moskenes. Picture is taken from the 'Reinehalsen' witch is where the road into Reine takes off from the main road called the E10. Europavei 10 (E10), is a European road that runs between Å in Lofoten and Luleå in Sweden. Å is the small town at the west end of lofoten and is not so far from Reine. Maybe 5-10 minutes drive to Å. Å is thelast letter in the Norwegian alpabet. In addition to the Z being last letter, we have the letters Æ, Ø and Å also. This goes for Sweden and Denmark too.

The two big white buildings in the middle of the right half of the picture is the old school. The building is no longer a school but instead an art-gallery. I should know since I was the person that did all the electrical work when the building was re-built into this 'hip' art gallery drawn by a known architect and then realized by a gang of Polish carpenters.

So, this is Reine!
It is not Nusfjord.

There are some similarities maybe.. The small huts painted red and placed down by the ocean is called Rorbuer, and is found in both places, but then again all small places in Lofoten has lots of those small red huts called Rorbuer. That is because everybody that lived here 100 years ago was fishermen and needed a place by the water to bait the fishing lures and also stash such equipment. A few did combine fishing with farming, having 8-10 cheeps and a cow maybe but most men was 100% fishermen. Nowdays its hard to get to become a fisherman since its regulated how much fish to be catched in totall for the country, and there are too little fish for those being fishermen already.
