I am a longtime user of Firefox, and decided to try Opera. Very frustrated that I can't figure out how to import my bookmarks, in spite of reading instructions.
In the View menu, the bookmark importer is grayed out, so obviously can't use. How can I change that? I also want to use some other search engines, and just seems too complicated rather than the easy add in Firefox.
Maybe I just need a video tutorial since it is so different from Firefox and Safari, but don't like Safari much anyway. I downloaded Opera 20.0; Mac OS 10.9.
Thank you.

Version 20 has Speed Dial as the Bookmarks/Folders default now, but you can easily get the 'Bookmarks Extension' that is the old style.
Pull down the menu in the upper left.
Click 'Get extensions'.
Search 'Bookmarks Manager'.
Click 'Install'.
This puts a Bookmarks icon in the upper right of the browser.
Click 'Import/Backup'.
Choose your saved Bookmark html file.I was getting the grayed out 'Bookmark Import' too. The above instruction worked for me.
