It abruptly stopped functioning. All I receive from YouTube is a warning that I can no longer download anything, and if I click on the symbol in my toolbar, I'm taken to the premium version. I'm not sure if I want to spend money on something that might not even work... This was once beneficial!

@ulyssesclemons Pls. use support option provided here - https://youtube-downloader.uservoice.com/knowledgebase to share the issue and get support. Also, make sure you the latest addon version - https://www.yourvideofile.org/download.html . I have submitted v 18.4 to Opera but it is not yet reviewed.

just fake as other 5 fake plugins. dosent work with rapidvids or any vids...

This is the best youtube video downloader i've had compared to all the others. you just click once and choose which ever you want like mp3 or whatever and it gets downloaded. This is a good extention all bad comments are spam and fake. trust. 5 stars

The alternative is: 4kvideodownloader. Free or do as I did, remit a small fee. Been using it for 3 years.

The problem is the app is browser based. Youtube or other components (like the browser) change, the app may break. The better option is the app to be an executable file like an "exe."

after years of using this extention i sadly have to stop, a big horizontal scrollbar started to appear on youtube and on full screen and after searching for like an hour i found out it was easy youtube video downloader that was the cause, please fix this issue

After a good amount of time of using this extension It sadly doesn't work anymore as videos downloader from this extension have a black screen that says "The following content is not available on this app. Watch this content on the latest version of youtube" because apparently they changed the youtube TOS and it is not allowed to download videos from their site.

YouTube has recently become stricter with video downloading, and yet again tried to block us. I am working on a fix for this issue, and it is almost done and should be available soon to you via an auto addon update.
In the meantime, please consider supporting me by donating at https://videodroid.org/pro_upgrade.html and leaving a review. It's disheartening that many satisfied users don't leave reviews while a few unsatisfied ones do, which hampers my motivation for this non-profit hobby project.
