Google image search problem - links to app download - temporary fix included

Hello,

When clicking the image upload icon on images.google.com to perform a reverse image search, you are taken to the App Store on iOS to download the Google app. A reverse image search cannot be performed on the website.

Same goes for Google proper.
Clearing browser data cache, using private mode, app restart, does nothing.
Long-touch on an online image to reverse search does work (if possible), but attempting the icon for upload from that point also has the same issue.
Everything works normally in Safari and Firefox on iOS.
The link address for the icon to reverse search, which is in a different position from other browsers, is an app-launching link https://search.app.goo.gl?blahblah

Temporary fix: Force Google to give you the Desktop site with the option in the Opera menu. (Google is giving other browsers the mobile site with functionality still intact)
