Opera GX Adblocker for Youtube

So, the day has finally come where Youtube has so graciously provided the screen of death.

Is there any other adblocker that's undetected and works on Opera GX's browser? And, do the devs potentially plan on working on an updated adblocker or nah? Or is my Opera just to blame, because I've heard contrasting statements that the adblocker does indeed work. Though, I don't have have updates for the browser.

Today, I faced the same issue. I looked out of YouTube and after that I could watch videos without ad-interruption as before. Hope this will continue working.

@petitepaintings Does anyone please have a solution to this other than whitelisting youtube? any adblockers that aren't detected?

For me the ad still tries to play but it has a black loading screen and I would have to Ctrl F5 to get rid of it. Sometimes the vid would play after the loading screen though.

I deactivated the adblocker and it still didn't work. I'll use YouTube without registration now.
