Bitwarden Launcher

Agree cause why would you need a separate launcher for a extension that already sits on your extension bar?

Hi!
I'm working on an extension that opens the login page of the Bitwarden extension on browser startup and closes the tab afterwards. Same function asCtrl + Shift + L
but on browser startup.
Because personally it bothers me to have to enter the Bitwarden password every time I save a password or retrieve a saved password (or 1x, but I would find a pop-up at browser startup more clever).I just released this extension yesterday and it is still in alpha phase. That's why it doesn't have any ratings yet.
I hope I have clarified everything with this!
Feel free to report bugs on Github.Best regards

Bitwarden is a great and secure value. Pay for it, it is well worth it and I cannot survive without it.

@hary006 Of course. But don't be disapointed of the extension. I'm working on.

@miriamaskitn You understand it false. This is no copy of the Bitwarden extension! The bitwarden extension is Required to use my extension.
But my extension only launches the vault login page of Bitwarden.
So you can simply unlock it at browser start -

@whitetiger55: I understand what you're trying to do with the app. -- To everyone whom is thinking its a scam, all the developer is trying to do is acknowledge access to your own Bitwarden when you initially open the browser instead of when a first password instance would come up as you "surf the net."

@cleverslut My suggestion here is not to call it Bitwarden Launcher. Can the OP write it to do one off's for any website? That will remove confusion and also extend the functionality of the extension to work for more than just Bitwarden.

Hi, could you maybe explain your idea in more detail? I didn't quite understand what you meant. The Developer

@whitetiger55 So you want to automate a process (related to bitwarden login). Does it have to be just Bitwarden? Or are there other extensions where you would want to do something similar? If so, you can implement that functionality (whatever you come up with) and also rename the extension to something that is not about Bitwarden so much as maybe Extension Login, or Extension Automate. It's a very general idea. But right now, your idea sounds like you are related to Bitwarden and people thought you were posting a scam. Just giving you ideas!

@terminatedprocess Thanks for your assistance. I didn't come up with this idea because I only created the extension to simplify my life. However, I'll aim to make it compatible with other extensions.
My knowledge of JavaScript is limited, and I had to force the extension to open using this link:
chrome-extension://nngceckbapebfimnlniiiahkandclblb/popup/index.html?uilocation=popout#/lock
.
As a result, I utilized Bitwarden's pre-existing function instead of creating one myself.
Today, I came across a request from Opera asking me to change the extension's name due to potential copyright issues. As a result, I am obliged to rename it soon.
