Click on the "Opera" symbol, then on settings, then you should see a checkbox beside "Enable Bookmarks Bar"

It's not easy to do at the moment from non-Chrome or Old Opera (12.16 or lower) browsers. Hopefully, this will change in a future version, but right now, Opera 20 can only import bookmarks from Old Opera, and then, only if they're in the "right" place in terms of folder name. In the case of Chrome, its bookmarks file can simply be copied directly into Opera's profile folder. But in the case of Firefox, you first have to export its bookmarks as an HTML file, import that HTML file into Chrome, and then do the bookmark file copy operation from Chrome to Opera... and from what I've read, that multi-step process has a tendency to scramble some of the foldering/arrangement of bookmarks, though they do all get carried over.

There is no bookmark manager (i think).
This latest Opera version is extremely basic. But the biggest problem, it extremely difficult to figure out that e.g. there is no bookmark manager any more. The best feature of Opera seems to be gone.
Some developers recommend(ed) to active " Quick Access Bar" from opera:flags
But it DOES NOT exist (any more?)
