Fixing the Tab

Hi, I work on an e-commerce site, usually my 1 tab has been fixed. i'm browsing between 4-5 tabs.!)sometimes I close my main tab while browsing, I fix the tab for this
When I ping the main tab, it shrinks a lot. is it possible to keep the tab the same size by fixing it?
