PRWeb crashes Opera

Version 12.15 is also affected (just like 12.16).
There is no critical security fixes between 12.14 and 12.16 (there is NO buffer-overflow vulnerabilities etc.).
I believe that a web-sites compatibility that has worsened and poor stability of the 12.15/12.16+ is more critical flaws.

I don't know about changes "under the hood", but main change from .14 to .15 was a non-issue, that is the default search engine may be changed ("hi-jacked") by other software, and the main change from .15 to .16 was about some certificates being "hi-jacked" and therefor should be invalid.

flashscore.com seems to be working OK here with 12.16.
Certainly no crashes and seems to display OK too.

12.16 x64 - not working (shows "Loading ..." message instead of the content).
And i guess there is no hope that it's won't be fixed ever.

Still fine here.
Perhaps it's just the 64 bit Opera 12.16 having the problem, I'm using 32 bit.

Yes. The site is broken in 12.16 x64 (windows).
Anyway, there is no reasons to use 12.15+. -

Any plug ins not updated? or might be a corrupted plug in or cache file
Opera 12.16 (x64, Windows platform) is not compatible with the largest Russia-speaking social network VK.com. The is no ability to upload photo into user's profile. The mentioned functionality works fine in 12.14 (in both x86 and x64 version, OS Windows).
Sounds like broken browser sniffing
Why Open the Web?
Despite the connecting purpose of the Web, it is not entirely open to all of its users.
When used correctly, HTML documents can be displayed across platforms and devices.
However, many devices are excluded access to Web content. -

No. The actual reason is missing public_domains.dat in 12.16+ (x64/Windows) distribution setup. That's why VK.com, flashscore.com, twitch.tv (and i guess many other similar web-sites) doesn't work correctly. It wasn't fixed in 12.17 x64/Win! Seems that Opera Software don't care anymore about quality control for Presto versions. But the cookies support and stability was broken in 12.15+ (both x86/x64, any OS) regardless of public_domains.dat.
