Dark mode option when viewing PDFs through Opera

I can't believe this hasn't even been requested yet!
I have to read through so many PDFs for uni, but there's no way to enable dark mode, or any sort of hex code switcher so I don't have to deal with my retinas being burned from all the bright white. I can't find a suitable extension that works properly with the Opera PDF viewer, so it would be great if it could be an official Opera feature. It's genuinely making me want to switch back to chrome so I can use their extensions because they don't work at all on Opera. -

I can't find a suitable extension that works properly with the Opera PDF viewer,
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/darkpdf/cfemcmeknmapecneeeaajnbhhgfgkfhp/ seems to work pretty good for both local and remote PDFs. At the URL
opera://extensions
, click "details" for the extension and make sure to give it access to file:// and search page results. And, click the extension's icon in the address bar (or extension cube icon's submenu if you don't pin it) and check "automatic dark mode" if you want. Then, new pdf tabs will automatically be in dark mode.In quick testing, the only issue I see with this extension is if you click the reload button for a pdf page. If you do, the automatic dark mode doesn't trigger.

@burnout426 I tried this, unfortunately, it doesn't work on pdfs I haven't downloaded but have online access to through my institution, but it does work pretty well for the files I already have. Sad it isn't built into opera!
