It used to work great, but doesn't appear to function anymore. The HD symbol is grayed out and the quality doesn't change automatically.

It works very well now. You have to remove the check mark from the 1st proposal (Do not change video quality if an HD quality is selected and the preferred quality is also HD) which is set automatically, because if you want 1080p (which you have chosen at the top), but there is 1440p , you will get 1440p

Works just great, but I have 1 advice... the menu it is barely visible in dark mode

Everything works well. I highly recommend using this add-on if you want to set the maximum possible YouTube quality only once, without having to set it every time when you open a new youtube video.
I don`t know why this feature isnt implemented in Youtube itself.

Doesn't do anything. Still reverts to auto no matter what settings I use.
