Hello, I noticed when launching Opera that the Download button in the task bar at the top right had disappeared. But even after research I don't know where he went or how to get him back.

Download something again and it should reappear. Then, it should stay until you clear your downloads or until your downloads are old enough.

Hello,
For some time I have been having a slight problem with my download icon. Originally it was located on the top left corner of my browser next to my extensions. But for no apparent reason, it disappeared one day and I could only find it by activating the option to have the icon appear in the sidebar, which is less convenient. I couldn't find any option in the settings to make it reappear in its original location and no change when reinstalling Opera.
It's a minor problem but it's quite annoying because downloading from the sidebar always forces me to open a new tab and there's no option to resume a download if it fails.
Does anyone have an idea how to fix this?
Thanks in advance.

@burnout426 Even when downloading something, the button does not appear for me, and I have to open the download page in the menu, or the sidebar to see what is downloading.

@elamongrella You have to clear your downloads and then download something to get it to appear again. But, if you ever cancel a download in a save dialog, it'll trigger the bug again.
See https://forums.opera.com/topic/60748/downloads-pin-doesn-t-appear-when-a-download-has-been-cancelled for more info.
