ozoratsubasa last edited byI have problems with the opera dev 21, so i downloaded the dev 20 and something. The problem after I close the opera dev 20 version, when I reload it, it comes again as opera dev 21. I would like this doesn't updated. What I need to do to avoid an autoupdate for dev?

christoph142 last edited bythe "disable-update"-command line switch is fine. I'm using it, too. But note that it doesn't work for Windows' jump list entries (e.g. "New private window")

A Former User last edited byHi Christoph, I just checked it in "New Private Window", and running the Opera 20 with the command line switch: "--private", in both cases it works without issues, the "updater" is disabled: . .

christoph142 last edited byI meant adding the switch to the link in Windows taskbar doesn't affect its jumplist entries
