Will Opera GX for iOS have bookmarks soon?

I want to switch browsers, but I need them synced between five different devices and not having bookmarks on my iPhone is a deal breaker. Syncing Speed Dial would be a huge plus too! Are there any plans on adding this feature?

This is also making me having to go back to chrome constantly as I have a lot of bookmarks and things I access quite regularly it's a shame because from what I've used of opera I love it.

@popthepopcorn I'm waiting for this too. Not just for the GX browser.
ALL other major browsers have bookmarks. Opera is possibly the only one that doesn't support them.
So much from a company that tries to look very fresh and modern.
Bookmarks are a basic feature every browser shouldn't be without. Add them, and I'll gladly switch from Safari.

I just switched to opera gx, including on ios, and I'm appalled it doesn't have a bookmarks system. This is a fundamental feature that any decent browser should have. This really should have been implemented ages ago, but I'm hoping it's at least done sometime in the near future.
That being said, a temporary workaround I found from other posts is using https://www.sync.opera.com/ to access bookmarks on mobile. You can add this website to your home page on mobile, and if you have sync enabled with an opera account you can fairly easily access any of your bookmarks on mobile via the website.

don't forget if you have Flow enabled your get bookmark autofill suggestions then typing in the address bar from your other devices

I gave up with flow and the other niche quirks I’m just moved to Firefox instead

@u1travio1et alas it does not work this way, the onlu suggestion you get using Flow is from your synced open tabs, not from bookmarks

@whataboutwolves not in my experience, perhaps if its not bookmarks its maybe my history because its autofilled every site i've wanted to visit and i don't have that many synced open tabs

@u1travio1et when you start typing, you can read that the sources for suggestions are chronology and open tabs, no bookmarks at all alas

its all irrelevant now realy anyway, as much as i love the Opera Touch design for mobile the overall syncing performance of data between all my devices windows / Linux / Android / iOS / iPadOS with Opera is very poor so i've moved on. i give Opera a go every so many years
