@kkout: I was having the same issue. Solved it by resintalling the extension completely then in the first login checking the remember device for 30 days. @Chatmandu

Agreed that the latest patch has broken the authenticator prompt when the remember device period has elapsed. As advised by mrspickles, a reinstall at least allows resetting the remember device period to put the problem off for another 30 days.

@blackwatur I've switched to bitwarden. The final straw was reporting a 2FA bypass bug via their bug bounty scheme. I received a reply stating it was a duplicate of another report from 2015. If they're happy to have unpatched security bugs for 7+ years, then I can't really trust the service.

I just installed Opera on my new Windows 11 machine. I cannot install LastPass. It's working on other browsers but I get a network failure message for Opera. Anyone else having this issue? Right now I need to have 2 browsers open so I can grab the passwords out of LastPass when using Opera. Thanks in advance!

Used this extension for years. Then one day I started using a VPN. The MasterPassword is No Longer Recognized and I got locked out my own password vault. Can't access it even after switching off the VPN. Lastpass must do better

2 security breach in the same year, everything locked behind paywall, a lot of time the extension bugs and is stuck on the vault animation, making it impossible to have access to your account infos without passing by the site.... Disapointing, to say the least.

2 serious data breaches + lied to customers to downplay the scale of the problem while also tripling the membership price. -

I've used LastPass for years. Not anymore. They have locked me out of my account. My password no longer works. Account recovery apparently means that they will wipe my account and I'll have to start fresh. I can't do that, though, because the extension "isn't installed." Uhh, yes it is. That's fine, I'll uninstall it anyway. If you're going to wipe out all of my passwords, I'll just stop using LastPass. What's the point?

Last Pass is a joke for a password manager. I sure wouldn't pay money to have it. They would have to pay me to use it.

How complex was your Master Password?
Is there any chance you might have been hacked as part of the recent data breach? Perhaps the hackers have changed your password to lock you out of the account?
Ask LastPass to confirm when your Master Password was last changed.
