Are you talking about this extension?
In its options, have you modified any of the settings from default?
Can you provide a video showing the difference in Opera and Chrome so it's clear what's going on, where tabs are at, and what links you're opening/restoring?

@burnout426 I uploaded a screencast of how OneTab behaves with Chromium, then Brave, then Opera.
It's slightly over 2 minutes.

Tested on Windows and can confirm.
I made sure
opera://flags/#open-new-tabs-right-to-parent
is disabled.At
opera://settings/userInterface
, I tried with "Cycle tabs in most recently used order" turned off. I also tried with workspaces turned off. I also close all tabs to start fresh after turning off those settings. No help. Opera restores the tab next to the OneTab tab instead of where the tab was at. It also doesn't matter whether the OneTab tab is pinned or not.I can confirm that it works fine in Brave where the tab is restored to where it was at.
I tested in Opera 81 also. No difference. Also tested in Opera 75. No difference.

You can try using https://addons.opera.com/en/extensions/details/classic-tabs/. In its options, you can force tabs to open at the end of the tab bar.

I don't know if this is considered a bug or just due to the way Opera opens links next to the active tab or something like that.

@burnout426 ok we got a fix, at least temporarily.
I disabled the "new tabs right to parent" option about 3 weeks ago which by itself was no help leading up to fix #2.
I then added the "classic tabs" add on and that has fixed the issue. All new tabs when clicking a OneTab link always open to the far right now in similar fashion to Chromium and Brave.
Thank you @burnout426

Hi @john-53, I tested it again in the latest Opera stable (.33) on Linux.
When you don't have any other tabs opened, it restores each tab at the far right, but if there are any, then the tabs are placed to the left of them.I see, that this could be considered inconvenient, especially it works correctly for you in the other browsers.
Perhaps Opera's developers should consider to make it work as in the other browsers. -

@l33t4opera OneTab.one allows you effectively to commodity and import your tabs as a rundown of URLs. You can likewise make a site page from your rundown of tabs, so you can undoubtedly impart your tabs to others, different PCs, or with your cell phone or tablet.
You can relocate tabs in your OneTab rundown to reorder them. You can likewise hold down the keyboard shortcut: Alt + Shift + O (Display OneTab) while reestablishing tabs and they will stay in your OneTab rundown (meaning you can utilize OneTab as an approach to rapidly sending off a bunch of regularly utilized tabs). OneTab backings retina shows. Note that OneTab is intended to leave set up any 'stuck' tabs you have.
You won't lose your rundown of tabs in the event that you coincidentally close the OneTab window, assuming your program crashes, or on the other hand if restart your PC.
2022 Update: We've been working like insane to improve OneTab Extension a whole lot - including carrying out bunches of your component ideas. We're full time on it now and have incredible energy. Much thanks to you for the entirety of your insightful criticism, kindly keep it coming. -
