[Solved] tppsx.com shows up when doing a search

I installed Opera GX months ago, wanting to see if it would be a good replacement for Chrome. There is only one issue stopping me from making the switch. When I type in a search, even if I go to google.com to do this, something takes over, shows tppsx.com in the address bar, and then sends me to Yahoo.com search results for "Opera GX" - no matter what my search line.
I've tried looking up the address, or going to it, but no dice. I get all kinds of results about TPPS, but not the address that appears. For that matter, typing in the address in the address bar results in a search rather than a website.
I have the latest version of Opera GX, and this issue has existed since installation. I don't have a problem with Chrome at all, other than the afore mentioned inability to find information on the address.
Has anyone else had this problem, know anything about the address, or --- better than those --- have a suggestion on how to correct the problem?

I should have referred to troubleshooting 101 for computers: If a program is having a problem from installation, try re-installing it.
So, problem solved. I reinstalled Opera GX and whatever was going on before is not happening now.
Go figure.
