[Duplicated] Allow setting up custom search engines as the default one

DuckDuckGo is going to start discriminating against political views they disagree with by censoring their search results. I prefer to have as much information as possible on all topics, especially if they're topics that corrupt propaganda peddling people feel necessary to censor.
But...there's no option in the opera browser to change default search engine to anything that isn't corrupt. I wanted to add searchX which seem to be a free speech search engine. But after I add the search engine I can't make it a default search engine. Which begs the question, what's the point of adding a custom search engine to the opera browser and not click a saved bookmark of it if you can't have it be the default search engine?
It's an inconvenience and I wonder if there's anyway to have a free speech search engine that doesn't censor political speech as a default search engine. If not, might be a deal breaker to me and probably a lot of other people.

@operauserfornow Yeah, this is a reason I've switched to Vivaldi for most stuff.
I've been slowly taking my tabs and favorites and extensions over to that browser instead.
Seems a lot more flexible with what it's allowed to do.
It's totally customizable.Opera isn't very open / user friendly.
