Opera does not work with Baboom.com

Opera Stable 18.0.1284.68 on Windows 8.1 will not allow you to play tracks on Kim Dotcom's new Baboom music website. I have no problem with Maxthon or Palemoon on that new website. You end up clicking play and a message box appears saying "oops there is a problem". I thought Opera going to Chrome was meant to stop the site incompatibilities? I only went onto the Stable version because Opera screwed up the last two Developer versions, well never corrected the main bugs of the last but one developer. I had no problems with developer since its creation until now, very disappointing!

Opera Stable has started to work on Baboom so it must have been a problem with Kim Dotcom's side

What could be the main cause of this, that no one is working on a solution?

Hello,

I don't really have access to Baboom, so I've only managed to try the demo here.

If I press 'Play' to hear any of the songs presented there, the songs play as intended (using Opera 23 on both Windows and Mac).

Your example works for me also. But not my example above.

I use Opera.usb.com/operausb.htm 12.17 for Windows.
Firefox Portable for Windows works completely without problems on all baboom-pages (ez_com/firefox).

Test today:

x Firefox: no problem.

x Opera 23.0.1522.75 for Win-Desktop: not playing > details.

1. Type opera:flags into the address bar
2. enable "Proprietary media types"
3. restart Opera

This will be working by default in upcoming versions of Opera then
