Opera 18 new tab opens not active, preferences menu gone

Where are Opera 18 Prefernces?
Especially I need Tab preferences.

The problem is that ctrl+link opens in new tab but Tab is not active, same with mouse gesture.
How to set new Tab active?

Ctrl Shift Click, or Shift Middle-click.
