Opera will not change my camera even when I change it on the drop down in the privacy settings

In Opera web settings I changed the Camera input device and refreshed the page yet it is still defaulting to the device at the top of the drop down list, please help.

I've refreshed the pages and closed opera gx entirely

Does no one have a fix yet? I have the same problem and its bugging me, it was working, i installed logi capture and then it just... broke
