When searching in one page, terms previously searched in other pages shows up

One of the most frustrating things I'm experiencing after switching to OperaGX is that it saves every search term I've entered in a website's search box, and presents a list of all of those options to me in any search box on any website.

Every one of those options were entered in a search box on another site, but are showing up in almost Every search box i come across.

Every other browser I've used keeps this history limited to the site they were entered on. It's not exactly helpful to have irrelevant search terms on unrelated sites.
