There is one video which I cannot play on the Opera browser. All other videos play fine. And this video plays in Firefox, but not in Opera. It is a Mageia 7 64bit

"Your browser cannot play this video."
ffmpeg is already installed.

This seems to be a problem with Opera that needs to be fixed. It is written about at this link.

""1
This unfortunately is a known problem in Opera spanning to OpenSuse 42.3. YouTube reports that H.264 and MSE & H.264 both are unsupported when accessed from that OS. This is using Opera 46.0.2597.26, not quite as fresh as yours, but newer OS.
Looking around the web, there is reference to a Chromium codec patch. Uninstalling Chromium makes no difference on my setup, nor force reinstalling ffmpeg after uninstall of Chromium's extra codecs. For those not feint of heart, there is a manual-linking solution [1] involving libffmpeg.so, which seems to have success there (but must be redone each time Opera is updated). I have not tried the manual linking.

@franzholz The link is not wrong. I encounter the same exact problems on OpenSuse Tumbleweed. It is either a bug or the format is unsupported due to proprietary licenses.
Please explain and list details as to why you believe the link is wrong.

@7syntax-error Firefox says:
"Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.
We can’t connect to the server at solus-project.com."

@franzholz Oh yes, my bad. I knew the solus-project link is dead. That solus-project link just happened to end up in my copy and paste of a comment at the stackexchange link. I was referring to the stackexchange link and all of the comments, replies, and posts at that stackexchange link.
